Going to the Movies

The Internet is even more convenient than the newspaper in helping you to choose a movie. For example, go to my.yahoo.com. Scroll down to the section on Movie Show times. If this section is missing, select Personalize->Content in the upper left portion of this page and then select the checkbox named Movie Show times in the Entertainment section (be sure to select Finished to implement the change). If the Movie Show times do not show the theaters in your neighborhood, select the edit button in the Movie Show times banner. Enter your zip code and follow the other directions provided to edit the theaters to be displayed. Be sure to select Finished when you have completed your selections.Now you should be able to view the theaters, movies, and show times (discounted show times are shown in parentheses) for all of the theaters in your neighborhood. For instance, by selecting any of the theaters, you can find:
• The address and phone number of the theater
• A road map showing the location of the theater
• A summary of the movies and show times for the coming week.
Not sure which movie to see? Just select one of the movies in which you are interested. You can see the following:
• Sex and violence ratings
• Synopsis of the show
• Running time
• User rating and user reviews
• Critic ratings
• Actors, directors, writers
• Links to related sites
You are sure to find just the movie you were looking for at a theater near you!
