Irv Saunders gave a presentation on point and figure charting and analysis. He also provided a handout giving an overview of the methodology. He asserted that point and figure charting could give one an 80 to 85 percent chance of making a profit.

Irv showed how he used a three-box reversal system to determine the price objective and sell point. He recommends the tutorial and traditional type of point and figure charting found at www.stockcharts.com.

Paul McLaughlin passed out a chart of QQQ. The chart suggests the bottom is not in yet.

Ed Kerins gave a report from the West Coast Cycles Group.

Murray Boobar described the fourteen items he uses to provide a fundamental screen of all stocks. Murray uses Quotes Plus software for this analysis.
