The first half of the book presents the puzzles and the second half is a detailed step-by- step explanation of the correct solutions. There are examples to demonstrate the use and precedence of operators in C statements. Basic Data Types, Included Files, Control Flow, Programming Style, Storage Classes, Pointers and Arrays, Structures, Preprocessor, understanding pointers, array pointers and structures.
The code in this book was not developed to provide examples of good programming code. It was developed to teach C programmers how to interpret what a particular piece of code does. The puzzles are chosen to illustrate why it is important to be cautious with the code you write to prevent unanticipated consequences. They are designed to explain C syntax and semantics.
