Flatbed Scanner Technology
Flatbed scanners are less expensive and better than ever. Now you can scan your photographs and documents to use in emails or on web pages. OCR (optical character recognition) technology allows you to scan and convert simple printed pages into text documents that you can edit in your word processor.
Learn what features to look for, quality issues, and basic scanning tips and tricks.

See for the first time, a live demonstration of the recently introduced Microsoft Office 2003 Editions products. They are Access 2003, Excel 2003, InfoPath 2003, Outlook 2003, PowerPoint 2003, Publisher 2003, and Word 2003.
Microsoft's raffle will probably include over a half-dozen copies of Microsoft Office 2003, a Microsoft X-Box game system, and an mp3 player.

Wear your computer related (oldest, most unusual, geekiest, hole-iest/ratty, Microsoft) t-shirt and enter the contest. Judging will be at 12:30 p.m. in Irvine Hall before the Main Meeting.
